We want to raise awareness of this crisis situation of entitled people committing fraud and theft. In the last several months individuals have engaged in federal level crimes stealing works and fraudulently booking them. These individuals will use “sewing” as an excuse for copying and potentially damaging other people’s works.
The idea about “sewing” is that someone can essentially take someone’s work if they believe it is derivative of another because they believe they can sue for it. Instead of suing they steal the work and claim it as their own. The problem with this is that these individuals who are really just desperate to take others work can’t prove that the work they are taking is actually derivative. They usually dont understand copyrights or they fail to follow through on their weak assumptions( not defining words).
When these individuals steal the work they usually damage them with incorrect portrays and they fraudulently book them. This type of theft is a Federal Offense.
Example 1: Huey was ALL SECOND but some will actually try to “sew” our primal Terray.
Example 2: Our Terray Lorenzo and Zavier were all copied because of Huey. Huey copied all 3.
